Cheeky, Very playful and loving. Has his temper tantrums, but wouldnt change him for the world!
Loves to throw his legs out at walk as if to say look at me, Floaty trot & Very powerful canter
Hes been to quite a few shows, he absolutely loves it but does tend to get very over excited in ridden classes which is a big downfall!
From the Tardebigge Stud in Brecon, his mum is Hardys Lullaby, and dad Synod Master Man.
Bought him as a 2year old section C from a friend of my mums over in somerset. As a 2 year old he was so dosile! that soon changed with age! He is 11 now and is full of himself! Loves being out in the field rolling around in the mud and playing with his buddies! We had to re-register him as a Section D I think at the age of 9, he didnt stop growing until he was 10. In May 2011 he caught strangles, ok we could deal with this. Once being cleared from the stangles (gutteral pouches swabbed came back negative) he was still very unwell. The vets were baffled, didnt have a clue what was the matter with him. He was having constant fevers, very down, lost all his character etc and worst of all had such a violent cough which meant anything he tried to eat came back through his nose, any water - same thing etc etc. This went on for a long time, many treatments tried with no luck. He eventually went up to Three Counties Veterinary Hospital, I think it was 3 times he went up staying 5-10 days at a time with no improvement. Our vet told us if there was no improvement soon then we would have to do the kindest thing, which at the time was horrific but so was watching him go through this 'illness'. We found out it was Nerve damage through his throat/neck which was causing this coughing reflex everytime he tried to swallow. By now we were in October. Slowly he was being able to eat more, drink more etc, and was getting back to his normal self in Jan 2012. He still is a little effected, when excited whilst being ridden the froth that you would see around the mouth comes down his nose, but other than this and a slight cough once in a blue moon hes 100% fit and healthy. Im so proud of him for pulling though, the vets couldnt believe it. Hes one special boy, and im so glad hes still with us today. Brought him back into work slowly in 2012, competed at a few shows and was made champion m&m ridden at one of them. Hes an absolute star! so glad hes got his cheeky-ness and tantrums back, it was like having a completely different horse through 2012. :)
