He's looking great Good luck with the showing, you are right, as I have found out, beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder
Thank you all for your lovely comments. I wasn't looking for a horse and tried my best not to get attatched to him as I knew he was looking for a new mummy. But I didn't have a choice with Del!! He chose me and made it very clear from day one we had a bond. He's not my usual type as I have always had eyes for Welshy's!!!But Del is a very special boy with a very unique character which makes everyone melt.I have competed in the past with my Welshy's and retired my big lad 3 years ago, it's been nice having time off from the show world and just enjoy hacking and having fun. Originally I just wanted to have fun with Del as a happy hacker but the more I look at him I can see me digging out my show jacket!!! If the ridden classes are not for him, (as gudges tend to have black & whites at the top!!) And he has unusual markings gudges will either love him or hate him which is showing for you!! I would love to try something different and try some driving classes with him. He's rising two so he has lots of time to blossom and no doubt he will shine in what he wants to do!! Cant wait to see what the future holds with this little star xxx
